Movflex Sinking 8 strands

Movflex Sinking 8 strands

Movflex is a special composite rope that mixes high tenacity polyester yarns with high tenacity polyolefin yarns. This distinct combination gives it excellent fatigue properties when compared to an all polyester rope but with less handling weight. Its a firm, plaited and non-rotational construction that provides flexibility and smoothness, while its double/triple twisted cover yarns deliver excellent abrasion and heat resistance. This combination of fibers allows a rope with smaller diameters (less weight) with excellent characteristics. Also available in 12 strands, 4 strands and 3 strands.
  • Advantages
    • Exceptional abrasion and wear resistance even in wet conditions
    • 18-20% lighter than regular polyester ropes
    • Low water absorption
    • Flexible and smooth, non kinking and non-rotating
    • Excellent UV resistance
  • Applications
    • Mooring lines
    • Towing lines
