Movflex Sinking

Movflex Sinking

Movflex is a special composite rope that blends high tenacity polyester yarns with high tenacity polyolefin yarns. This distinct combination gives it excellent fatigue properties when compared to an all polyester rope but with less handling weight. Constructed with double/triple twisted cover yarns, this rope has excellent abrasion and heat resistance, whilst the polyester combination provides it with flexibility and smoothness. This combination of fibers allows for a rope with smaller diameters (less weight) with excellent characteristics. Also available in 12 strands and 8 strands
  • Advantages
    • Exceptional abrasion and wear resistance even in wet conditions
    • 18-20 % lighter than regular polyester ropes
    • Low water absorption
    • Flexible and smooth
    • Excellent UV resistance
  • Applications
    • Mooring lines
    • Towing lines
  • Technical Informations
    • Raw material: Polyester / Mixed Polyolefins (HT)
    • Specific Gravity: 1,10 (sinks)
